Boxy

Walking through this beautiful NYC burough, after TIBI, we stumbled upon quaint courtyards and streets. They had character and were a great backdrop for photographs. LAlso visited the Highline, which was crowded and buzzing with tourists and locals alike. This area of New York City is, like most, is alive with great culture, street style and food. After these shots, we headed over to The Spotted Pig, where we waited only about 10 minutes before having one of the best Cuban sandwiches I'd eaten in my life (and both my parent's are Cuban AND I was born and raised in Miami; my endorsement says a lot). By the way, the bloody Mary's aren't half bad, either. This little spot earned it's Michelin star in my foodie heart.

I wore a matching boxy top and high waisted, A-line, pleated skirt, an obvious style challenge, especially in flats, but I was not about to traipse around the city in heels. It needs a bit of tailoring but otherwise, wears well and is pretty cute. You can still buy it here.

Fendi Pyramid Cuff
Shoes: Lavorazione Artigiana
