Seal the Deal

I do the majority of my clothing shopping online.  People think that's weird, because you can't try clothes on online but I find that if you know your size in a particular brand and maybe read a review on the item, it makes online shopping easy.

You can oftentimes get better deals online than in store.

I'm an online coupon code girl.

Under the cut is a list of shopping sites with good sales and some coupon codes.

1. Revolve Clothing: they stock new items almost daily and consistently allow for promotional code use at checkout.  The code Tulip has been working for 15% off your entire purchase for as long as I can remember.  Every now and then a new code will come out for 20% off.
I'm currently wishlisting this Knot ring by Fallon.

You can twist it into a different shape!
Make an online boutique, like mine, and you can get commission towards Revolve purchases when your friends buy stuff through your link.  Awesome.

2. Tobi: they're constantly price matching with Revolve.  They compete all the time, and when one site has a promotion, the other will most likely match it.  The best way to get a price-match on a discount deal is to call their customer service line because they don't advertise it.  I never shop @ Tobi; their site never appealed to me, but they recently redesigned the entire site.  Maybe now?

3. Bluefly:  they do not update as much as I think they should, so sometimes their "New Arrivals" section will be the same for a week (boo).  They already carry designer items at a discount , so whenever they do have a sale (which is more than 2 times a week), you are getting a deeper discount!  If you are signed up to get their e-mails, they will send you links to private sales that are accessible only via those e-mails.  They will also send you a 'WE MISS YOU' e-mail with a code for $30 off your purchase, if you haven't shopped with them in a while.  One of their current coupon codes is DOR291A good for $30 off a $150 purchase good until 2/19/11.
If you're really good to them, they'll make you a Frequent Fly-Er and you'll get more perks ;)

4. Reverse: Revolve's sister site.  They basically carry all of the overflow that doesn't sell on Revolve but that doesn't mean it's not cute stuff.  They carry BB Dakota, Ella Moss, Dolce Vita, Pour La Victoire, Mini Market and more.  You can get these adorable Gladiator sandals by Dolce Vita right now for $24!

5. The Outnet: Net-a-Porter's sister site; carries the overflow.  Great sales.  They stack their sales too, so there will be days where you can get an additional 40% off of something that's already listed at 50% off.  They're currently having their "Weekend Shop-in" sale where this See by Chloe scarf is an additional 50% off; about fourty-some dollars + shipping.  They just finished having a Marni where they had pieces discounted up to 65% off.

6. Banana Republic, Gap & Piperlime all use the same coupon codes on their online sites.  If you have a discount code for Banana, but want to buy something from Piperlime, select your Piperlime item, and then click on Banana's site to checkout - because the companies are all owned by Gap, Inc., they allow for this.

7.  The Purse Forum: The absolute BEST resource for everything shopping is The Purse Forum; become a member and follow their Deals & Steals section for literally up to the minute discount codes on designers ranging from Alexander McQueen to Miu Miu and retailers like Sephora and Saks.

8.  Neiman Marcus Last Call: the adored outlet for luxury shopping finally launched its online site a couple of months ago.  They're having a President's Day Sale right now through February 22nd - 25% off your entire purchase.

9. Ebay: to put it mildly, I'm obssessed.

10. Shopbop:  Since being purchased by Amazon, they've raised prices but to offset that they are having more sales.  To save you the trouble of Googling 'ShopBop coupon code' they have what they term a Shopbop Coupon Code Cheat Sheet available on their site, listing current coupon codes and promotions.  Their sale section is divided into 30%, 50% and 70% off sections.
